A recent poll suggests that Labour would come out on top if it were left to the nation’s fathers to vote
With the general election looming down on us and the party leaders ducking and diving to avoid the difficult questions leaving no clear front runner, the outcome is anyone’s guess.
But according to a poll from Dadsnet, over 40% of British dads will be voting for Mr Corbyn and Labour.
This is relative to 24% planning on voting Conservative and 19% for the Liberal Democrats.
The breakdown of the remaining parties was:
The Independent Group for Change | 1% |
Plaid Cymru | 0.4% |
Scottish National Party | 4% |
UK Indépendant Party | 1% |
Brexit Party | 6% |
Green Party | 5% |
When ask what policies were most important when considering who to vote for, it’s no surprise that Brexit came out on top with 30% of the vote. But it was closely followed by almost 28% feeling that the NHS and care is the most significant policy when voting.

It’s apparent why these seem to be the only 2 policies the 3 main parties talk about.
The economy (13%), work & benefits (9%) and education (7%) followed behind as significant policies to consider.
Let us know your thoughts, though? But regardless of which way you’re planning to vote; just make sure you vote!

I wouldn’t vote for corbin if my life depended on it!
YOU WERE NOT VOTING FOR CORBYN, YOU WERE VOTING FOR LABOUR POLICIES – YOU KNOW THE POLICIES WHICH WOULD HAVE SAVED THE NHS, PREVENTED IN WORK POVERTY, HELPED THE HOMELESS – YOU KNOW THE GOOD STUFF. INSTEAD WE WILL GET A TORY BREXIT, WITH LOSS OF HUMAN AND EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS, SALES OF THE NHS AND THE RICH-POOR GAP WILL CONTINUE TO GROW!
BET YOU VOTED BREXIT PARTY DIDNT YOU!
40% of dadsnet members would vote labour, not 40% of dads.
Maybe dads that join dadsnet are more likely to be from a particular demographic, or more likely to have particular political viewss.
