ParticipantCar seat and base was very well packaged upon receipt from the courier.
The car seat is well made, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the contrasting colours of white and black. At just two weeks old the padded liner including head support is already very tight, which, whilst the baby is very secure, it is a struggle to get him in and out. The Side impact block installation instructions are not very clear as to its installation. However, I like the idea of it being removable to suit installation position in the vehicle.
The Isofix base is also sturdy and well made, however the pressure sensitive button on the foot of the standing leg is a point of frustration, requiring the base to be installed past level to apply sufficient pressure when the car seat is not installed else it beeps constantly. The other alternative is to recover the pressure button with the yellow prior to use cover.
