In the early stages of breastfeeding the encouragement of a partner or family member is immeasurable. On top of the emotional rollercoaster of the birth, my wife found an immense pressure to be successful in breast feeding. The reality is that it’s not for everyone.
It’s great to try to breastfeed… however it’s absolutely fine if all doesn’t go to plan. Remember a big bonus in bottle feeding is letting someone else share those night feeds!
