Al FergusonKeymasterPiers Morgan, today, said that wearing or carrying your baby is emasculating. Do you have a baby carrier? What do you think?

Deano AustinParticipantI think baby wearing dads is a great look!! I personally think there is nothing more special!, the feeling of carrying you little on close to your chest is just amazing! 100% would rather carry than push in a pram! So practical to!
He hasn’t got a clue!!
Sam WalshParticipantI don’t see any issue in a father carrying their child, I have done and don’t see the issue. Really I don’t think the question about masculinity and how yours is effected should really come in to how you raise your child, they are two separate subjects I don’t think at any point your social image should come above you doing the best for your child and caring for them in the way you see best. And I for one am not going to be taking masculinity advice/lessons from piers Morgan who I don’t think would know proper masculinity if it walked up and slapped him in the face.
GlenParticipantI’ve never rated Piers Morgan’s views as I can’t stand the man.
Couldn’t disagree more with him on this subject. I’ve carried both of our babies in slings, at different ages. And have loved doing so. Brings me closer to them, makes them secure, as new babies it lets them hear my heartbeat. I think it helps the bond between father and baby!
A real man, I think, is a man who does whatever it takes to look after his family.
KimParticipantCretin. I loved carrying mine, in fact it was the only way we could get him to sleep for a while!
