ParticipantI am a researcher at University of Leeds who is supporting The Fawcett Society by conducting a study about the experiences of parents and carers raising boys and girls. I am interested in what role gender stereotypes do or do not play when raising children. I am looking to interview parents or carers (mothers or fathers, from any kind of family) of children aged 0-7 for a 30-minute interview that will occur over the phone (or video call if required). Your experiences will contribute to findings by the Fawcett Society’s commission on Gender Stereotypes in Early Childhood. I’m looking for parents who live in the UK. If you are available between 23rd August 2019 – 5th September 2019 and might be interested in participating or have any further questions, please email me chantal.sullivan-thomsett@fawcettsociety.org.uk. I will then email you information about the project, after which you can decide whether you want to take part and we can work out a time that works for you. If you know of any other parents or carers who might be interested then please do pass on my details. I look forward to hearing from you.
