Worst bit if you could even call it that was the local anaesthetic as it stings a bit being jabbed down there. But the feeling during wasn’t uncomfortable, the recovery fine too. You’re bruised but nothing out of the ordinary.

As for sex drive, not affected mine one bit, not that it makes much difference!

Had them hit our house last autumn and found them harder to shift from my daughter than my son. Tried the mousse rather than a shampoo with varying success and found the Vamousse one worked well for us. Plus it had a game you could download to a phone to occupy the kids when applying it or combing!

Invest in a good comb and do that regularly as that helps clear out the crap. Apparently shampoo containing tea tree is good as nits hate the stuff. Also apply conditioner then comb as it sticks to the nits and lice allowing the comb to get it all out

Patience is the key. Things won’t be the same as they once might have been between you but you need to support and help them rather than resent them for it. But equally don’t stand by and become a punch bag too; if they are treating you bad, anxiety is a reason why but not an excuse for it.

It’s a fine line between letting the odd thing slide and being taken advantage of, so be careful and make sure you have a support network to fall back on as well.

My doctor prescribed me vitamin d as my levels were low. Hell it was mid winter, what did she expect!!!

Tried running but never found a group at a low enough level to cope with comfortably. Not given up but need to keep looking as I don’t cope on my own very well

Hi I’m James although have always resented my parents choosing a name that’s hard to shorten or get a nickname from! My two are Isaac (6) and Chloe (4) and I live just outside Southampton; originally from Yorkshire but moved South for love and better weather…

I wish I’d known that health visitors can be alarmist and out of touch. It would have saved me 5 hours at a&e only to be told by a lovely nurse that the reason my baby had a sore throat was because he had been crying!

Dark chocolate, which was hilarious as she hates the stuff. She wolfed it down until she was in labour when it made her chuck!
