Disney+ has announced that a remake of the classic Macaulay Culkin movie Home Alone will be available for the holiday season.
The film titled ‘Home Sweet Home Alone’ will be available on the streaming service from November 12, 2021.
The all-new comedy-adventure will feature stars Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), Aisling Bea (This Way Up), and Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live). It will come 31 years after the original Home Alone film was released in 1990.
Archie Yates of Jo Jo Rabbit fame will take the lead role as Max Mercer who has of course been left at home for the Christmas holidays!

Our tale begins with Max Mercer a mischievous young boy who is left behind when his family is in Japan for the holidays. So when a married couple comes to the Mercer family home in search of a priceless heirloom, it is up to Max to protect it from the thieves.
