The Dad Network Local Community Terms & Conditions

THIS AGREEMENT is made on the day of application and becomes legally binding upon the acceptance of becoming a Dad Network Community Leader.


1) You, the client as detailed in your application (the “Participant”).


2) The Dad Network Limited (“TDN”) whose registered office is 8b Lonsdale Gardens, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1NU, a company registered in the UK under Company No 10006960. 

1. Interpretation
1.1 In this Agreement: “Program” means any event, meet-up, project, online activity within the community or other activity anywhere throughout the world, arranged by TDN Local Dad Communities; “Partners” means any brand, company, charity or organisation that is working in collaboration with TDN;

2. The Participant’s Obligations
2.1 The Participant is responsible for his/her own travel arrangements and expenses during the Program.
2.2 TDN shall not, in any event, be held liable for any consequence, personal damage, loss or injury arising during the Program.
2.3 The Participant acknowledges and agrees that TDN reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a Participant at any time, or to require a Participant to withdraw from a Program at any time if it is determined in a Program Leaders sole discretion that it is the best interest of the Participant’s health and safety, and/or in the best interest of the Program in general.
2.4 The Participant agrees to take personal responsibility for insuring the Participant’s own personal belongings & effects and TDN cannot be held liable for any loss or damage of personal belongings & effects.
2.5 The Participant must respect TDN’s aims and objectives and not wilfully or recklessly seek to damage relations between TDN, the Program and/or any Partners. The Participant must not misrepresent TDN in any way which would seek to undermine or damage relations between TDN and any Partners.
2.6 The Participant acknowledges and agrees that TDN reserves the rights to any photos and videos provided to them or taken by TDN staff members, during or after the program, for promotional purposes.

3. Warranties, Liabilities and Assumption of Risk

3.1 TDN shall have no responsibility for any activities undertaken or organised by the Participant in relation to the Program. No warranty is given in respect of any activities relating to the Program.

4. Complaints
4.1 If the Participant wishes to make a complaint in relation to the Program, he shall bring the complaint to the attention of the Program Leader or TDN staff member, who shall use his/her reasonable efforts to resolve the complaint within a reasonable time.

5. Physical and Intellectual Property
5.1 All equipment and resources provided by TDN both prior to and throughout the duration of any Program (including design) remain the property of TDN.
5.2 All research, data, reports, photographs and documentation relating to the Program and TDN, shall remain the property of TDN without compensation to the Participant. TDN retains the rights over the use and dissemination of such materials for its commercial and promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, the posting of any photographs containing an image of the Participant while on the Program on its website, brochures, or other marketing, promotional or informational medium.

6. Data Protection
6. 1 TDN may collect and use the Participant’s personal data, which may include (but not be limited to) the Participant’s name, address, telephone number, email address, country of origin, and use of the Services, for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
6.2 TDN may be required to disclose the Participant’s personal data to meet legal or regulatory requirements.
6.3 TDN will not collect, store, process, transmit or otherwise handle the Participant’s personal information for any purpose that is not indicated in this Agreement.
6.4 TDN will comply with all applicable data protection laws as required from time-to-time.

7. Termination and Expulsion
7.1 TDN reserves the right to:
7.1.1 deny a Participant from participating in a Program; or
7.1.2 expel a Participant from a Program where that Participant is in breach of any term of this Agreement.
7.2 Without prejudice to the generality of clause 9.1 above the following (non-exhaustive) list of acts will result in automatic expulsion:
7.2.1 the possession, taking or supplying of illegal or illicit substances. The question of whether the substances are illegal or illicit is to be governed by the jurisdiction of the state where the acts take place;
7.2.2 displaying cruel, thoughtless or rude behaviour or committing acts which could injure or harm another Participant, a Program Leader, a member of staff, or any other person;
7.2.3 disobeying TDN’s and/or the Program Leader’s instructions in relation to health and safety;
7.2.4 committing an act or displaying behaviour which could jeopardise future TDN Programs or lead to the souring of relations between TDN and any partners; and
7.2.5 breaking local laws.
7.3 Expulsion will be carried out by the Program Leader at TDN’s own discretion and is not subject to appeal.

8. General
8.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties and shall apply to all Programs undertaken by the Participant.
