I think this rule is absolutely insane. In my opinion this is just a school trying to lay down authority because they can. Communication is key to a child’s learning and development and should be encouraged.

My partner always wanted to do it for our twins, but was very ill after birth, so for that reason she couldn’t. To this day she hates herself for it. (Even though it was out of her control)
Both ours have always been bottle fed, and have turned out more than fine, and both done extremely well to get where they are now considering how small they were born.
For my twins we swear by a bugaboo donkey, it gets through all doors, even though it’s a side by side, and folds down small enough to go into a hatchback. Would highly reccomend.

I think it depends on a few things. Does your child leave the house alone? Are they mature enough for a phone? What would you do as a parent regarding restrictions. With most up to date devices you can access the internet and social media. I’m in a mind of the longer my kids can go without one the better.
