I can only speak for the Joie Chrome dlx. We have had it from newborn (a year and a bit ago) and it is still going strong. We must have been lucky and got it for less than £200 and got the chrome carry cot for £1 (a mistake by the retailer). We also used an igemm car seat with it. Really can’t fault it other than we found it quite large in our c…[Read more]
We have had a fair number over the years most still in use. Started with the eldest in a 2nd hand(I know that isn’t a good idea but the oh was a single parent on benefits) infant Carrier. He was then moved into the Joie stages and rear faced until he as 3 and a bit changed to front due to not fitting in the car and the oh being pregnant and…[Read more]

It took a long while to realise she wasn’t a…[Read more]
We have 2, heavy duty is the Joie Chrome dlx. Basic but good we went for it due to the easy travel system compatibility with the Joie igemm car seat. There are far better buggies about but this suited our needs.
More recently we got the ultra compact poxkit+ which folds tiny and is very light. This is primarily to have in the Car as the Joie is…[Read more]
Our biggest thing was preparation. We weren’t worried about getting a few hand me downs.
We got a next to me cot from Gumtree for about £70 cleaned it down and it was good to go.
We shopped around for our travel system we went with a Joie Chrome pushchair and found a dlx model on offer saving a few quid. The same shop had received tye carrycot…[Read more]
Scotland is slightly different. Anyone born in January/February is allowed to defer entry.
We are doing this for our son as it will give home more of an opportunity to mature enough to cope with school. At the moment he can’t sit still for more than 10 mins and has no attention span, mostly down to other things but giving him the extra time will…[Read more]
