Israel is perhaps an unlikely place you think you’d find a wonderful baby gym, yet, we managed to track one down all the way to Israel! And it’s good job too because I was seconds away from trying to construct my own one.

We’re not fans of the normal Early Learning Centre or Mothercare baby gyms that you can access easily; there’s nothing wrong with them, they just don’t suit our taste.

So, we spent a while looking around and eventually stumbled across Mishela, via Etsy.

Beautifully handcrafted baby gyms.

You can see from the images that this is a great design. It folds up very small for easy storage and is remarkably light. The light Beech wood is strong and durable and with only one, innovative aluminium fixing, it’s brilliantly simple. Unfold it, place it over the mat and away you go.

The design is modern and looks fantastic with a smooth finish. There is nothing we can say to improve this frame… however, be warned that it is just the frame you’re buying. You need to supply your own mat and your own hanging toys… There are 3 pre made holes on each leg of the frame so there’s ample space, but it does mean the overall cost of your baby gym increases dramatically, and it’s not cheap in the first place.

Definitely a high end product, but as it doesn’t come with equally gorgeous toys. The Mishela Baby Gym receives an official Dad Network star rating of 4 / 5 stars.
