It’s been a while since the last edition of Ted’s Threads and hopefully we’ve moved in to more summery days and clothes. The few nice days we’ve had weather wise have given Ted the chance to wear short sleeved tee’s and even shorts! Ted has recently outgrown so many of his clothes and so we’ve been on the hunt for new Instagram shops as well as finding him new summer style items from some of our old favourites.
We love a bit of personalisation and this initial ‘T’ tee ticks all our boxes. It’s from Sweet Ruby’s for £9. All their items are handmade. Ted has worn this tee a lot, it washes well and hasn’t faded. Great quality for a great price. Custom designs are also available for adults and children. Sweet Ruby’s are offering all Dad Network customers 10% off their order with code ‘ted.’
What a lovely afternoon – cricket and strawberries. Ted’s wearing monochrome leggings (£16) from Buffalo and Bear. They are made from super soft pure cotton that has been ecologically sourced. They are rotary printed and made in the UK. His Work Hard like Dad, Dream Big like Mum baby grow is a great addition to Ted’s wardrobe. Its from Naturoco, a non-toxic, eco-friendly and ethical shop and they are currently offering 15% off everything when you shop on their Instagram page.

Ted wears leggings almost ever day so we have quite a collection. We are quite particular when it comes to leggings as a good fit is important for manoeuvrability. He’s quite slight for his age so an elasticated/adjustable waistband is a must. I love the neutral colours of the first print and the retro abstract design in the second is perfect for summer. These leggings fit Ted perfectly. They are from Three Bears Threads, who are offering free delivery with code THEDADNETWORK.
I love a new pair of kicks. More than that I love Ted in a new pair of kicks. How fresh are these? They are from our all time favourite shoe store Bobux. I love the style of them and Ted loves the velcro.
Ted’s brother was taking part in a triathlon this day so Ted supported him with this awesome bicycle Tee (£17.50) from Three Bears Threads. I love the simple line drawing. We teamed them with these gorgeous harem style leggings from Zoom Baby (£9.95) They are 95% cotton and 5% elastane jersey fabric. All products are handmade in Scotland. Zoom Baby are offering Dad Network readers 10% discount with code TEDSTHREADS10 until 29th May.
Jen very sadly lost her Grandad recently and to try and cheer her up I secretly ordered these twinning sweatshirts from one of our favourite stores – Magnificant Stanley. Ted and I love a bit of twinning and it was super cute to see Jen and Ted twinning too. (£38 and £22) She absolutely loved them.
More Zoom Baby leggings. This feather print is perfect for the summer and the harem style means Ted can take them off himself. Perfect for those of you that are thinking of potty training during the summer months. They are 95% cotton and 5% elastane jersey fabric. Zoom Baby are offering Dad Network readers 10% discount with code TEDSTHREADS10 until 29th May.
We have been trying to get these oversized cardigans for Ted for a while now so when we saw they were restocked we had to buy both the black and the grey. I absolutely love Ted in cardigans and these are by far my favourite. The cardigan and the beanie are from Ryder L (£16.50, £11) We’ve teamed them with a plain white tee from H&M and Leshy Lamb superhero leggings. (£13) His boots are, of course, from Bobux.
Suns out, knees out! This was the first time I’ve seen Ted in shorts since he was a baby. He doesn’t wear nappies in the day now so his little bottom looks ridiculously cute! These shorts are made by Leshy Lamb (£12) and are a really great fit. His little toddler tum isn’t restricted because of the elasticated waistband and they are super soft.
Twinning and tripleting! This was one of our most liked Instagram photos ever! I love Ted in pyjamas and this style in a tractor print is hard to beat. We’d just got back from a day at the farm too! We discovered these at Rumours Boutique, a gift shop specialising in traditional nightwear and clothing. (£35, £22, £15) The pyjamas are made from 100% cotton and Ted loved dressing Teddy before bed. (They make rag dolls too.) There are so many prints available in children and adult sizes and Dad Network readers can get 10% off with code ‘Ted10’ until 2nd June.
