Honestly, I skim linky posts on those I have linked up to many times, I’m not expecting to see anything new. On my own linkys, if I change something, I have red or blue text color & write change or new information so it stands out & people read it. If I’m new to a linky then I carefully read the post but otherwise it’s usually the same note every week. I did read that you started a new forum but missed the bit that you wanted us to go there rather than comment. I enjoy your linky & add a link every week.I also always comment, but I know from my own experience that not everyone does that. You can try putting awarning note & remove those that don’t comment. But if it’s not working for you guys then stop it or take a break for awhile. Thanks for hosting!

Good ideas, thank you. Sorry I was not my usual self in that! I deleted it as I came across seriously grumpy. Some weeks half the people don’t comment AT ALL. Obviously you are great and I was not referring to the lovely linkers like yourself! Sorry!

I think every linky gets a certain amount of link dumping and running – you are never going to stop it completely. I personally try to read and comment on as many as I can but naturally some weeks I have more time to comment than other weeks. Removing repeat offenders links could be a way forward. Also perhaps not many people read the opening paragraph of the linky because they are regular linkers and assume the rules are the same each week?

Thank you. Sorry if I was a bit moody, not my usual self! It’s people that NEVER comment on a single post i was referring to. Thanks for your comment and sorry again :)

Ah thank you. Do you think? It never seems like it when its your own does it.

Thanks for hosting – it looks like, based on the comments above that I’ve missed something, but can’t see what :(
