So you might have a new iPhone? If so I have to agree the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are both fantastic phones, but every good phone often needs a little treat every now and then. Below are a list of great accessories and gadgets you should consider adding to your wishlist:
Olloclip 4-in-1 Lens – £69.95
I am a massive fan of iphonography, or to the rest of us taking photos with my phone and I have been looking to see what accessories can enhance my experience. I have been looking at the Olloclip 4-in-1 Lens for a while and then recently got my hands on one and I wasn’t disappointed. Its has 4 lenses, a wide angle lens, a fish eye lens as well as 2 macro lenses. You can get some great shots with it.
Of gadgets available it is on the pricey side at around £70 but well worth it.
Joby Gorilla Grip – from £21.99
Now this is a product I got my hands on some time ago and I love it, it is a tripod that can hold your smart phone, I have found this especially useful when out and about with the family. Often we are out and about and don’t have the Nikon DSLR camera with us, but find ourself in a position where we would love to get a family photo or take some nice pictures of the landscape etc and this can come in useful, you can use the Joby as normal small tripod or you can wrap it around a tree branch, a climbing frame or even off the car wing mirror if you need to (yes I have tried all of those!).
Breffo are a great british brand, I am pleased to say that they make some excellent accessories for your tech, I have a Spiderpodium in my car and it fits almost every phone, as you will see it will secure phones in and out the car and is an excellent travel accessory! A bargain at £15, and if you look closely you will be able to get a discount on your first order if you subscribe to their mailing list
I hate selfie sticks, I have a perfectly good arm for getting pictures but often found myself looking for an easy way to hold my phone as the iPhone is very slim! The Shoulderpod is a very simple yet effective product. If like me you use your phone a lot to video and take pictures this could be the accessory for you, having used mine since Christmas I have found it great to get some steady video as well as timelapses. Currently available from the Shoulderpod site for €29.90
Knomo Case / Sleeve – £25
This might surprise a lot of iPhone or smartphone users, I am not a big fan of using phone cases, but then I don’t want my phone to get scratched when in my bag or pockets, so I tend to use a Sleeve. My current sleeve of choice is the blue Knomo. If you haven’t heard of Knomo they are one of my favourite brands and make top quality products and this sleeve is no different. It doesn’t add any bulk to the phone and keeps it nice and safe when out an about and would highly recommend their products.
Charger – From £18.99
If like me you are a heavy user, with all the will in the world your phone won’t last all day so it sometimes needs some back up. I have opted for a pretty powerful external battery charger call the EasyAcc Power Bank, it has a brilliant 10000mAh of power and can charge my iPhone 6 about 4 times, it has 2 USB ports so you can charge 2 gadgets at once! Its a fairly small size for the power.
If you don’t want something so big then there are a number of iPhone charging cases out there, I would recommend the Mophie Juice Pack for the iPhone 6, they can be a bit pricey but experience in the past tells me its worth it.
Pebble Smartwatch -From £99
Ok lastly but certainly not least is my Pebble. I love this, I have had this smart watch for 18 months nearly now and feel really lost when I am not wearing it. I am often asked what it is that I like so much but it is hard to explain. I like the fact when I am in meetings or somewhere its not appropriate to constantly be checking my phone it is handy to see who is calling or be able to read messages from my wrist. There has of course been a lot of chat about the Apple Watch but I am still tempted by the Pebble as well as the soon to be released Pebble Time. The watch will notify you for calls, and texts as well as other notifications such as Twitter, Facebook and email.

A great set of items, I’ve used the Gorillapod over the years for other cameras and they are great for low level photos especially :)
You’re dead right about the Gorilla pod… check out the shoulderpod really great product!
Nice selection of gadgets there! I need to get a new charger/holder for my car, I’m going to look into the Breffo one you suggested. #brilblogposts
Glad you like the list! The Breffo’s are awesome
My husband has the Olloclip and it’s fab, I got a puku charger for the iphone and it works pretty well with about 3 full charges in it. Great post, thanks for the inspiration
I already have the grip tripod and think I’m going to have to invest in that extra charger. There’s nothing worse that running out of phone battery, especially when you’re an addict like me! #thelist X
I need the Brefo Spiderpodium in my life! #binkylinky
I recently got my Apple Watch and am very impressed with it so far. It’s made my life a lot easier. :)
Very jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a portable charging case and would be lost without it! I use my phone so much! The Pebble looks pretty impressive. I have a fitbit (not the same, I know!), but I like being able to look at it and see who’s ringing me so a smart watch definitely appeals. Thanks for linking up to the #BinkyLinky
