Well, for us, it’s the Isle of Wight. A small Island just a few miles off the south coast of the UK. We like it there. It seems to have it’s own mini culture; a culture where the pace of life is slower and where people smile at each other. It seems to have it’s own micro climate which is a law unto itself and it has the best of both worlds; countryside and beaches. There’s lot’s to do with the kids or very little to do if you need some R & R. We like it. In fact, I liked it so much that it’s where my darling wife and I got engaged. We hired a beautiful little holiday cottage that was perfect for us. He visited the beach for the first time, played in the sea for the first time, went crabbing & cycling for the first time. He saw a Lion eat a chunk of meat, went on a ferry, slept 12 hours through the night and he even sat underneath a huge water fountain… But rather than bore with the written word, I’ll let you sit back and enjoy the ‘modern’ way of communicating; moving pictures!

It’s that time of year again where I get jealous of everyone having holidays abroad at work for 2 weeks and I’m like “I’ll be happy with a small cottage in somerset” lol and they just look at me. It’s not always about the sun, bbq’s, beaches. It’s about relaxing completely. Thanks for the chance, enjoy your hols if you have any coming up :D
